Operation Gobble
Bear Valley Electric Service, Inc. (BVES) is committed to supporting the Big Bear community by providing assistance to those in need. BVES is proud to support local charities in the Big Bear area and help feed local families through its annual Operation Gobble outreach program during the holiday season. The program has been successful in providing more than $4,500 annually to benefit local families throughout the Big Bear Valley.
As part of its annual Operation Gobble program, gift cards will be distributed to over 80 individuals and families with limited resources who are challenged with food insecurity.
“Bear Valley Electric Service employees are pleased to support Operation Gobble, a Holiday tradition that helps support members of our community with limited resources,” said Paul Marconi, BVES, Inc. President, Treasurer & Secretary. “We are thankful that we can partner with food banks and non-profit organizations in the Big Bear area so that families and friends can gather together this Holiday season to give thanks over a warm and nutritious meal.”
This year, BVES is partnering with the following community organizations:
American Legion, Bear Valley Electric Service, Bear Valley Firefighters Association, Big Bear Chamber of Commerce, Big Bear Masonic Lodge, Big Bear Lake Elks, Big Bear Lions Club, Big Bear Lake Rotary Club, Big Bear Sheriff’s Dept., Big Bear Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church, BVCHD Mom & Dad Project, Bear Valley Unified School District, Citizens On Patrol, DOVES, The Journey Church, Soroptimist Int. of Big Bear Valley, St. Columba’s Episcopal Church and St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
