Update 9/28/26, 9:20 a.m.: Please note that the period of concern for this Southern California Edison (SCE) Public Safety Power Shutoff event has now ended. Thank you for your support.

The period of concern has been extended through noon Monday, Sept. 28. If this changes again, we’ll keep you updated. The SCE team indicated that due to high winds, there is a possibility that the event could extend further into next week.

No outage has been confirmed at this time. However, if SCE de-energizes the lines, BVES will have limited capacity, and some or all customers may experience an outage. BVES will continue monitoring conditions and notify customers of significant changes.
